Brides should consider wearing a colorful dress, as a white wedding gown was not common for the times. Red, blue, gold and silver were popular colors. Typical drinks should include beer, ale, wine, mead, and water and milk for non-drinkers (non-medieval drinks like cola or juice may be served at the couple’s discretion).

Not many decorations are required for a medieval themed wedding, but some minimal and understated adornments like greenery and flowers will do wonders for a room, and if the wedding is outdoors, the decorations will already be there.
